MY RAMADAN FACT SHEET
A fact - Something that is known to have happened or to exist, especially something for which proof exists, or about which there is information- Cambridge Dictionary
Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatuLlah wa barakaatuh, dear sister,
Trust that you are good, striving and thriving.
I would like to share a few facts that came up for me this Ramadan..
Before you say Maa shaa Allah, make no assumptions, none of this is an indication of goals met or activities done. Neither are they all tied to my personal experience, they are simply facts.
The blessing of Ramadan cannot be fully explained in one email, hour, book or even day. It comes with so much Rahmah and Barakah, but you have to look closely to get it. I also particularly love that it comes with Mindfulness - a true gift that can get you through everything in life.
This mindfulness is what helps you stop before you do something silly, knowing that if no one can see you, Allah can.
It is the same thing that reminds you before you do that act that it can have a positive or negative impact on the society.
It is the one that keeps you grounded and reminds me you that it does not end here.
It shows you that the Rizq you have is not for just you.
It reminds you that with trials can be blessings and that ease can be worse trials than you think.
Most importantly, it gives you focus and helps you to strive for what truly matters and have your eyes on the eventual goal - Al-Jannah Firdaus.
Unfortunately, bad boy Shaytan is back with his whispers, which means it is easy for us to to now get distracted and forget all what we were sure we could do. That is why I created my fact sheet as a reminder and hope that you can do one too.
