What Is Knowledge Without Action?

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatuLlah wa barakaatuh,

Trust that you are doing great, striving and thriving.

All of us are preparing for major projects over here, please keep us in your Duas.

A recurring thought for me for some weeks now has been the importance of knowledge with action ,it also happens to be one of our pillars at IbadahPlug, no surprises there lol. Even my classes in the past two weeks have also had an element of it too. From learning to live with Allah’s Names with Ustadha Jinan Yousef to Anse Marah teaching us to favor knowledge that has fruits in class, it has been weeks of learning how to apply knowledge. Of course this does not mean we should not seek knowledge, we definitely should, remember the video on the benefits of seeking knowledge? It just means that we should be conscious of application too.

Wondering where to start? How about replays? How about spending 20 minutes everyday of revision? Basically, just going over videos you’ve watched before. This could be an old Ramadan series, classes you have life-time access to or even Khutbahs you watched, you can check out out playlist here. Rewatch them and then set an intention to implement at least one thing from it. Don’t make it too big or hard, just one simple act. I went all the way back to the Judgement day series yesterday and was reminded of the Surahs that save you and why I must be consistent with them. Great reminder, I tell you.
