Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Islam began as a something strange and it will return to being strange, so blessed are the strangers.”

Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatuLlah wa barakaatuh.
Trust that you're good, striving and thriving.
The thing is, I LOVE being strange, I really do.
I don’t mind at all that it is strange to some that I've got to bow so many times everyday . I don’t mind that people wonder why there is fasting on Mondays and Thursdays when ‘you just finished a whole month of fasting’.
I have no problem with celebrating a new year which the rest of the world was done with it months ago.
I LOVE the strange and cannot believe it took me this long to realize how much I do. You know why? Because this strange also gives me a wireless connection to my Creator, every moment of the day.
This strange gives me a clear path to Insha Allah make it to Jannah.
This strange gives me sooo many opportunities to start over.
This strange is liberating!
This strange has helped me realize that I may think something is bad for me when in fact its good.
Alhamdullilahi ! Now I know that for every A---tiiiii-shooooo my sins are vanishing with it.
Trust me, I can get behind strange, because strange is worth it.
As we enter this new year, I encourage to not be afraid to be strange . It is rewarding, beneficial and strange is your best bet Habibtie, to get to where strange will be the new normal. So ,embrace this strange and let's keep strange-ing together (Okay, maybe I overdid this one..lol)
May Allah bless us to keep choosing Him even when its uncomfortable, May He forgive our shortcomings and help us to the make the most of this new year. Ameen
REFLECTION OF THE WEEK
There is pain in just partial submission. There is a pain in not entering into peace and security—the *only* peace and security—completely. With one’s *whole* heart. There is pain in half a sajdah (prostration). There is a pain in putting your heart (even partially) in anyone else’s hands. And that pain continues until you turn your entire heart *only* in one direction. Until you turn your entire heart *only* towards Him. He becomes the only true aim of your striving.
Alhamdullilahi for Life With Allah and their beneficial resources. They have put together this free E-book on how to make the most of the Muharram (The month Of Allah) that you should check out. I also encourage that you join their WhatsApp/telegram group for their really amazing resources.
Ramadan content never gets old to me sha! Alhamdullillahi, I am so happy that everybody puts the best into it because it makes the content evergreen and it still feels fresh years later(at least to me). Love this series by Qalam Institure. It is just 15 minutes(or less) per episode and is titled paths to peace , three episodes in and I LOVE it!You have got to appreciate the wisdom of Shaykh Abdulnasir Jangda(May Allah bless and honor him).
Till Next Week, Insha Allah
We leave you in Allah’s care,

This resonates so much with me, just thinking about the strangeness one feels even when striving to do the right thing. This really is an invitation to embrace the strangeness and may Allah bless us all for it. Ameen.
May Allah reward the writer immensely for the Quality write ups. Ameen.
