Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatuLlah wa barakatuh. Trust you are well and had a great day yesterday despite the heavy downpour? May Allah accept our worship, Aameen. We had a restful one.
The fleeting nature of time has always been one that always strikes us because SubhanaLlah! Just in May, we celebrated Eidul-fitr and now in early July, Eidul-Adha is gone too. Real hopes are that Allah accepts all we do and importantly allows the lessons Dhul-Hijjah is laden with to be with us.
From the start, this month has been one of great reflection for us here, you know. We’ve practically absorbed ourselves into the story of Nabiyy Ibrahim (A.S.), special thanks to Yaqeen Institute for their amazing contents. The many other resources we’re subscribed to have been really great in helping to root the beauty of this month firmer in our hearts. AlhamduliLlah!
Here are some of the go-to contents we utilised.
LIFE WITH ALLAH
We found this a gem during the first 10 days of the month. It contains a compilation of articles that give a comprehensive understanding of Dhul-Hijjah, as well as guides on how to best utilize it the blessed days. It was a go-to resources and we’re sharing it with you in hopes that you find time to go through it and see how best it can serve you.
YAQEEN INSTITUTE
This platform has been serving us goodness and rich, deep understanding since day 1, Allahumma baarik. The Voice in the desert is a compilation of the stories and du’aa of Nabiyy Ibrahim (A.S.). Imam Omar breaks them down and teaches how we can equally apply them in our lives. A must-watch if you haven’t.
Attaching to Allah is the latest one from YQ. Here again, they directly make pointers to the life of Nabiyy Ibrahim (A.S.) especially as regards how he dealt with blows and trials with deep-rooted tawakkul.
You can tap the images to watch them. Do make out time to watch these videos and even share across to others too.
Till next week, in shaa Allah.
We leave you in Allah’s care.
