Asalam Alaekum Waramatullahi Wabarakatu,
Trust you are well, striving and thriving.
When the remembrance of Allah’s involved, it truly hits differently. Today, one of us got married!!!!!! As I sat at the Nikah, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of peace. It was a simply beautiful occasion—free of unnecessary extravagance, cultural stress, or drawn-out formalities. Just simplicity, elegance, and most importantly, a ceremony aligned with what pleases Allah.
The lecture was short, clean, and full of beneficial reminders for everyone. There was no public display of affection or awkward moments to make anyone uncomfortable. It was the kind of gathering that leaves you inspired, not regretful. I loved every moment of it!
A lady seated next to me kept exclaiming as the groom and bride answered the questions, “They are so pure!” And I couldn’t help but agree. There was an undeniable sense of tranquility in the hall, a serenity I’ve rarely experienced at weddings. Too often, gatherings like this will leave you, needing days of Tawbah, but this was different.
When Dhuhr set in, the brothers immediately located a nearby mosque, prioritizing salah. Everyone was so well-dressed—modest and radiant- the sisters looking adorable with their veils, fully-covered clothes - SubhanAllah, it felt like an act of worship through and through.
I didn’t have a meal at this wedding, but I left feeling full—full of joy, satisfaction, and inspiration. No regrets, no lingering guilt—just gratitude for witnessing something so beautiful.
Please make du’a for one of us—ask Allah to bless her and her home, to grant the couple barakah in their union, and to make them a source of goodness for each other and everyone around them. May Allah grant them tranquility, love, and abundant blessings in this life and the next. Ameen.
Alhamdullilahi for being able to witness this special day!

My favourite part: “There was an undeniable sense of tranquility in the hall, a serenity I’ve rarely experienced at weddings. Too often, gatherings like this will leave you, needing days of Tawbah, but this was different”.
